What happens when you love what you’re building, but everything feels scattered?
Hannah, one of our business coaching clients, found herself in exactly that place. She was building a business she cared deeply about, centered around resourcing adult ballet dancers. She had passion, ideas, and a clear audience. But beneath the surface, things felt scattered, overwhelming, and emotionally heavy.
“I had so many ideas,” “but no structure. Everything lived in my head, and it felt like chaos,” she shared.
Hannah shares how God used clarity, coaching, and very specific prayer to transform not just her business strategy, but her confidence, emotional stability, and sense of calling.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re working hard but not moving forward, this story is for you.
A BUSINESS THAT LOOKED PROMISING – BUT FELT CHAOTIC

Meet Hannah! She’s an adult ballet dancer, dreaming about online community spaces, book clubs, and creative offerings. From the outside, it looked like momentum. But internally, she felt isolated.
Despite having a supportive husband and family, Hannah carried the weight of every decision alone. She questioned her ideas constantly. Were they good enough? Was this business even viable?
“I felt like I was chasing my own tail,” she said. “I was doing so much, but nothing felt grounded.”
The biggest struggle wasn’t lack of effort, it was clarity! She was pouring time and energy into her work without a clear structure, direction, or sustainable plan. That tension became impossible to ignore.
Hannah didn’t wake up one day suddenly knowing what to do. In fact, clarity came through a process, one that required slowing down, letting go, and inviting God into the details.
Here’s how that process unfolded:
Even though her business ideas were good, Hannah felt emotionally drained and overwhelmed. Instead of pushing through, she got honest about what wasn’t working. Naming the chaos was the first step toward clarity.
Rather than praying vague prayers, Hannah began praying intentionally about her business decisions asking for discernment, peace, and confirmation. This shifted her posture from control to trust.
Hannah had spent much of her career in administrative and operational roles. She was good at them, so she assumed that was her lane. But through coaching and reflection, she realized creativity, storytelling, and vision were actually central to how she was wired. Hearing that reflected back from others was eye-opening.
With guidance, Hannah recognized she was carrying too many “good ideas” that weren’t serving her core mission. Saying no felt uncomfortable, but it created space for focus, structure, and sustainability. “Saying no freed me up for a bigger yes,” she shared.
As she aligned her business with clarity, doors began opening naturally through conversations, encouragement, and opportunities that felt peaceful rather than forced. The anxiety-driven highs and lows started to level out.
Instead of spiraling when things went wrong, Hannah practiced anchoring herself in gratitude. “I get to do this,” became her reminder. Not because it was easy, but because it was aligned.
What changed most wasn’t just Hannah’s business strategy, it was her relationship with the process. Sometimes clarity doesn’t come from a new idea. It comes from finally seeing what’s already there.
She learned that clarity doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from listening more closely, letting go of what doesn’t fit, and trusting that God cares about the details just as much as the vision. “We plant the seeds,” “God makes things grow.”
